If you’re working in any of the following 15 sectors, you might find that business is booming...
Many organisations in the hospitality, travel and leisure sectors are suffering due to current Covid restrictions, but some are diversifying to survive through the lockdown months and others are showing huge growth due to the massive pivotal changes in consumer behaviour.
1. Food – home deliveries – the Big 5 (Morrison’s, Asda, Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s) as well as local specialist independents and farm shops (near me) have had a significant increase in demand. Also cafes and pubs (also near me) have diversified in to providing take away services. Vegetable and meal boxes (eg. MindfulChef, Abel and Cole), milk and paper deliveries are also on the increase. Not to mention Amazon. Jeff Bezos can now retire!
2. Online Entertainment – night after night spent in at home means increase in demand for film streaming such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney Plus; sports streaming such as FuboTV, and online party apps such as Houseparty and Kast.
3. Online Dating – even total lockdown can’t stop us from wanting to meet that special someone! eharmony.co.uk, match.com, elitesingles.co.uk, SilverSingles.co.uk, ourtime.co.uk, okcupid.com, bumble.com.

9. Cleaning services and cleaning products are selling like hot cakes - “Antibacterial wipes”, “cleaning products”, “eco cleaning products” are all booming.
